In accordance with the authorisation granted by the Law on the State Border of the Republic of Latvia, the Cabinet of Ministers shall determine the border crossing points, the time for carrying out checks by the competent authorities, the border crossing points intended for local border traffic, as well as the places and procedures for carrying out checks on gliders, helicopters, airships, ultralight and short-range aircraft performing flights between the Republic of Latvia and a third country.
